An information processing device having a storage unit (110) for storing linkage information in which there is defined a linkage control for causing other apparatuses among a plurality of apparatuses to be operated in linkage with the operation of one apparatus among the plurality of apparatuses, a communication unit (130) for communicating with a plurality of communication devices connected to each of the plurality of apparatuses and also communicating with a terminal device, and a determination setting unit (120a). The determination setting unit (120a): receives information that indicates a first apparatus from the terminal device via the communication unit (130); determines on the basis of the linkage information whether a linkage control of the first apparatus and a linkage apparatus linked with the first apparatus is executed by the information processing device, or executed by a communication device connected to the first apparatus and a communication device connected to the linkage apparatus; and executes a setting process for linking the first apparatus with the linkage apparatus on the basis of the result of determination.
