Abstract:
A portion of interest of an object is displayed, without the size of the portion of interest or the layout of the object being changed, in an actual display region which forms part of a display target region set within a window and displays a visible region on a screen. In order for a display element to be displayed in the actual display region which forms part of a webpage display target region (20) and is not covered by another window (16a), a control unit sets a reference point (P) on the basis of the positions of the actual display region and the display element in a drawing target region (22) in which a webpage is rendered. For example, (a) the display element is displayed in the actual display region without the size of the display element being changed, (b) the area of a surplus white region produced by movement of the reference point (P) is minimized, or (c) a display element having a relatively high priority from among a plurality of display elements is preferentially displayed in the actual display region.
