Abstract:
For each of a plurality of data, a history storage region (106) stores the number of accesses carried out through a file system. When accesses to the plurality of data sets occur without going through the file system, a cache management unit (119) sets, as overwriting prohibited data, data which is stored in the history storage region (106) and for which the number of accesses is equal to or greater than a threshold value determined on the basis of the number of accesses to the plurality of data, and caches the data in a disk cache region (108).
