Abstract:
Provided are a device and a method that are able to execute a highly precise motion transfer process between a source and a target having different structures. A process for converting a structure S of a source model, which is a motion transfer source, to a structure P, a process for converting a structure T of a target model, which is a motion transfer destination, to the structure P, and a motion transfer process for transferring the motion of a source model having the structure P to a target model having the structure P, are executed. A data processing unit generates a source model instance wherein the structure S of the source model that is the motion transfer source has been converted to the structure P, and a target model instance wherein the structure T of the target model that is the motion transfer destination has been converted to the structure P, and executes the motion transfer process between the generated instances having the same structure.
