Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of achieving a surveillance device (stand-alone surveillance device) that functions independently in a prescribed space in which an abnormality or the like is to be detected. A captured image acquiring unit 101 acquires data relating to an image obtained as a result of imaging of at least a portion of a prescribed space in which an information processing device is disposed. On the basis of the acquired data relating to the image, a hazard/abnormality detecting unit 105 detects the possibility of a hazardous or abnormal object or phenomenon being present or occurring in the prescribed space. If the detection result obtained by the hazard/abnormality detecting unit 105 satisfies a predetermined condition, a warning notification control unit 106 controls notification of a prescribed warning. The problem described hereinabove is thus resolved.
