Abstract:
An information processing device 100 has: an acquisition unit 105 for acquiring material data that is expressed in a first format and that is to be used for generating a virtual viewpoint image based on a plurality of captured images obtained by imaging a subject using a plurality of cameras 101; a conversion unit 107 that, on the basis of information for identifying a material data format which can be processed by another device at an output destination of the material data, converts the format of the acquired material data from the first format to a second format; and a transmission/reception unit 108 that outputs, to the other device, the material data the format of which has been converted to the second format, to the other device.
