Abstract:
[Problem] To provide technology that makes it possible to automatically measure the size of a subject with reduced restrictions on imaging range and projection, without limiting the shape of the subject, and while reducing the necessary number of image frames. [Solution] Provided is an information processing device comprising a depth information acquisition unit for acquiring depth information, a data conversion unit for converting the depth information into three-dimensional data, a subject extraction unit for extracting a subject area where a subject is present on the basis of the three-dimensional data, and a size measurement unit for measuring the size of the subject on the basis of the subject area. The size measurement unit detects six planes that circumscribe the subject area and measures the size of the subject on the basis of the six planes.
