Abstract:
The present invention relates to an information processing device and method that are configured so as to be capable of improving the user-friendliness of a sensor unit. This information processing device comprises: a verification unit that performs verification processing together with other information processing devices; and a power supply unit that supplies power to other information processing devices for which verification processing has occurred, if the verification by the verification unit is successful. The present invention can be applied, for example, to information processing devices, biosensor units, wireless connection devices, power supply devices, and wireless communications devices, etc.
