Abstract:
The present technology is related to a measurement device and method which enable distance to be estimated more easily and with high accuracy, and a program. This three-dimensional measurement device is provided with: a rotation control unit which controls the rotation of an image-capturing unit by a rotation mechanism such that the image-capturing unit rotates around the centre of rotation of the rotation mechanism, while the distance from the centre of rotation to the focal point position of the image-capturing unit is a fixed distance; and a distance calculation unit which, on the basis of a plurality of captured images captured by the image-capturing unit at different positions while the image-capturing unit was rotated, calculates the distances to objects in space. The present technology is applicable to three-dimensional measurement devices.
