The objective of the present invention is to streamline re-modification work for a program that has been modified. This information processing device for assisting development of a program has: a common portion identification unit which identifies a common portion which is outside a range of modification of a program and is common to the program before and after a modification; a test execution control unit for controlling test execution of the program before and after the modification using a predetermined test case; a mismatch origin identification unit which compares transitions of values of either one or two or more variables included in the program before and after the modification executed by the test execution control unit in order to identify a location at which a value of a variable becomes an origin of a mismatch between before and after the modification; and a mismatch origin information output unit which, in the program after the modification, distinguishes between and outputs the common portion identified by the common portion identification unit and the location to become the origin of the mismatch before and after the modification which has been identified by the mismatch origin identification unit.
