Abstract:
An objective of the invention of the present application is to provide an information processing device and a system which update map data so as to be more up-to-date and precise. An information processing device according to the invention of the present application comprises: a pre-opening information storage unit which stores pre-opening information including information relating to a route scheduled to go into service; a map data storage unit which stores information relating to map data including routes which are in service and which are scheduled to go into service; a map data usability determination unit which determines the usability of the map data corresponding to the stored pre-opening information; and a control unit which controls the pre-opening information storage unit, the map data storage unit, and the map data usability determination unit. The map data usability determination unit compares information relating to a non-used data version which is stored in the pre-opening information storage unit as the pre-opening information with information relating to a data version of the map data which is stored in the map data storage unit, thereby determining usability of the map data.
