Abstract:
When a plurality of operating systems are mounted, it is preferable to effectively use memory resources without affecting other operating system. Even when the operating systems are different, communication between the operating systems is required since the operating systems are mounted on a single system. In this case, it is necessary to perform data communication without affecting the other operating systems. To cope with this, an information processing device includes firmware and middleware. The firmware allocates as a first domain, a first CPU, a first operating system, and a first region as a part of a memory region while allocating as a second domain, a second CPU, a second operating system, and a second region as a part of the memory region, and performs control so that one of the domains will not access a region allocated to the other domain. When a data communication is required between the first domain and the second domain, the middleware controls the communication.
