Abstract:
A speaker judgment device judges the polarity of a speaker connected to an output terminal. A test sound is outputted to an acoustic space via the connected speaker and the test sound is collected by a microphone. Moreover, a reference signal is generated according to the test signal. A polarity judgment unit compares a microphone signal obtained by the microphone to a predetermined frequency band component of the reference signal so as to judge the speaker polarity, i.e., whether the speaker is connected with a normal phase or an inverse phase.
