Abstract:
[Problem] To achieve more highly accurate dynamic updating of map information corresponding to changes in the real world. [Solution] An information processing device is provided with: an acquisition unit that acquires observation information relating to a unit space in the real world from one or more sensors; and a communication unit that uses information relating to discrepancies between a reference map and the unit space in the real world as a basis to transmit the observation information acquired in the unit space. In addition, an information processing device is provided with: a communication unit that receives observation information relating to a unit space in the real world acquired from one or more sensors; and a map generation unit that generates a reference map on the basis of the observation information, said observation information being transmitted on the basis of information relating to discrepancies between the reference map and the unit space in the real world.
