Abstract:
The present invention provides an information processing method, a positioning chip, and a mobile terminal. The method comprises: a positioning chip receiving control information transmitted by a main chip disposed at a mobile terminal where the positioning chip is disposed, the control information comprising a target position; obtaining, according to the control information, a current position, and determining whether the current position matches the target position; and if the current position matches the target position, the positioning chip transmitting an instruction command to the main chip, such that after the main chip receives the instruction command, the main chip performs, according to the instruction command, a target operation. In the method, a positioning chip monitors a current position. When the current position matches a target position, an instruction command, and not the current position, is transmitted to a main chip so as to trigger the main chip to perform a target operation, preventing applications in the main chip from obtaining position information of a mobile terminal and protecting user information security.
