Abstract:
Provided is an information processing method or the like which can accurately predict a water depth. The information processing method is characterized by using a computer to execute processes of: acquiring a water depth observed at an observation point within a unit section obtained by dividing the ground surface corresponding to a calculation area by a constant unit; inputting the acquired water depth at the observation point to a model, which outputs a boundary condition pertaining to a water flow flowing in and out of the unit section when the water depth at the observation point is input, and estimating the boundary condition of the unit section; and applying the estimated boundary condition to a prescribed equation to generate water depth distribution data that indicates the distribution of the water depth within the unit section.
