Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an information processing system that can periodically calculate travel distance information about a user (including pseudo–travel distance information not involving actual travel) when the user trains on a treadmill. [Solution] The present system comprises a data management unit that acquires sensor vibration information about the treadmill detected by a vibration sensor, and a travel distance information calculation unit that calculates, from the sensor vibration information, landing vibration information indicating landing of the user's sole on the treadmill and set speed information set in the treadmill, and calculates travel distance information about the user from the landing vibration information and the set speed information.
