Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to accurately identify a user requiring a follow and follow the user, before updating an application, to swiftly or smoothly complete an update, and also to prevent a problem from occurring during operation. This information processing is a system which electronically connects to a user device in which the application runs and which is operated by the user. The information processing system is provided with: a notification unit which notifies the user device of an advance notice of a release of the latest version of the application or an update for the latest version; and a determination unit which determines the degree of IT literacy of the user and determines whether a follow is necessary before the update for the user, on the basis of whether the determined degree of IT literacy corresponds to a prescribed IT literacy.
