Abstract:

An information protection method and device, belonging to the technical field of virtualization. The information protection device comprises: a a virtual machine monitor (VMM) (2) and a plurality of virtual machines (VMs) (3A, 3B, 3C), wherein the VMM (2) comprises a memory management unit (MMU) control module (21), a plurality of VM instances (23A, 23B, 23C) and a shared service module (22), the plurality of VM instances (23A, 23B, 23C) being in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of VMs (3A, 3B, 3C). When the MMU control module (21) receives a request message sent by any one VM of the plurality of VMs (3A, 3B, 3C), the request message may be sent to a VM instance corresponding to the VM or the shared service module (22) on the basis of context information carried by the request message; if the VM instance or shared service module (22) determines the presence of attack information, then the VM instance or shared service module may send an information protection prompt message to the MMU control module (21) so that the MMU control module (21) deletes, when receiving the information protection prompt message, the VM that sent the request message and the VM instance corresponding to the VM, thereby preventing the attack information from affecting other modules and achieving the purpose of information protection.
