An information recording medium (100) includes a record information area (106) for
recording record information and a control information area (112) for recording control
information used for controlling recording or reproduction of the record information.
A push-pull signal at least in a part of the control information area has polarity
reverse to the polarity of the push-pull signal in the record information area.
