Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of information sharing, and particularly to an information sharing method, an intelligent terminal, and a system. The information sharing method comprises: transmitting an information sharing request, and receiving a social media application list matching the information sharing request; selecting, according to the social media application list, a social media application requiring information sharing, and determining whether a client of the selected social media application has been installed; and if not, automatically downloading and installing the client of the selected social media application and sharing the information. In the embodiments of the present application, a non-installed social media application can be automatically downloaded and installed to share information without needing to exit an information-sharing page, making information sharing simpler and faster, and improving sharing experience of users. The present application can also sort social media applications in a social media application list according to popularity indices of social media applications in a region in which an intelligent terminal is located, so as to promote popular social media applications.
