Abstract:
An injection device that comprises a detection unit and a puncturing unit. The detection unit comprises: electrodes that can detect the electrical characteristics of biological tissue; and a tracking mechanism that tracks the movement of the biological tissue. The puncturing unit can puncture the biological tissue and administer a substance-to-be-administered to the biological tissue via a hollow part that is demarcated inside the puncturing unit. The position of the puncturing unit can be specified on the basis of the positions of the electrodes. The tracking mechanism comprises a spiral part that spirals around the puncturing unit and can be expanded or compressed along the extension direction of the puncturing unit. The electrodes are arranged along the circumferential direction of the puncturing unit at an annular distal-end projection surface of the spiral part that is specified when seen from a distal-end side of the puncturing unit.
