Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to obtain, by using a molding method called injection foam molding, an injection foam molded body which, while having the stiffness as a characteristic of injection foaming, also has cushioning properties giving soft sensation when the injection foam molded body is pressed with a finger, the properties not being obtainable with conventional injection foam molded bodies. The present invention relates to an injection foam molded body which is composed of a propylene-based resin composition and is characterized in that: when a three-point bending test is carried out in which a sample cut out from the injection foam molded body in a size of 50 mm × 150 mm is used and a force is applied to a central position of a supporting interval of 100 mm with an indenter at a bending speed of 50 mm/min, in a "load-deflection curve" obtained with a deflection amount being between 0 and 10 mm, a bending elasticity gradient evaluated pursuant to JIS K7221-2 is in a range of 27-1,000 (N/cm); and when a test of pressing a round indenter of 4 mm in diameter with a flat fore end into a flat portion of the injection foam molded body by applying a force (load) at a speed of 1 mm/min is carried out, in a "force-deformation amount curve" obtained with the amount of reduction in the thickness of the injection foam molded body being between 0 and 10%, the pressing elasticity gradient, which is an elasticity gradient upon pressing evaluated pursuant to JIS K7220, is in a range of 5-120 (N/mm).
