Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pigment dispersion for inkjet inks, the pigment dispersion being characterized by containing (A) a dispersant, (B) a pigment and (C) water, and being also characterized in that: the dispersant (A) contains at least a non-crosslinked resin (A1) that has a constituent unit (a1) derived from an acid group-containing monomer; the acid group in the constituent unit (a1) in the resin (A1) is neutralized with use of a tertiary alkanolamine at a neutralization ratio of more than 100% but not more than 200% if the neutralization ratio in the case where the acid group is neutralized with the theoretical equivalent is taken as 100%; and the tertiary alkanolamine has 2 to 3 hydroxyl groups in the structure, while having a boiling point of 150°C to 330°C. The present invention also relates to: an inkjet ink which used this pigment dispersion for inkjet inks; and a printed material which is obtained by means of printing with use of this inkjet ink.
