Abstract:
An ink container loading structure comprising an ink container provided with a means for storing specific information, and an ink container loading part provided with a means for reading out information stored in the storage means, wherein the storage means is protected against breakdown due to proximate approach of a reading means to the storage means. The ink container (1) is provided with a rib (12) and the ink container loading part body (40) is provided with a groove (45). The rib (12) of the ink container (1) is abutted against the groove (45) of the ink container loading part body (40) in order to regulate movement of the ink container (1) in the direction of arrow B such that the interval between the reading means (30) and the storage means (20) does not fall below a specified value.
