Abstract:
Provided is an ink set having excellent color reproducibility over a wide range, and excellent ozone gas fastness and light resistance (a single color region of yellow and a mixed color region of red, green or the like). Also provided are a recording method and recorded material which employ the ink set. The ink set includes a yellow ink composition and a magenta ink composition and/or a cyan ink composition. A coloring agent of the yellow ink composition includes, for example, an azo pigment, a tautomer thereof, or salts or hydrates thereof. The magenta ink composition includes at least one selected from C.I. pigment violet 19, C.I. pigment red 122, C.I. pigment red 202, and C.I. pigment red 209 as a coloring agent. The cyan ink composition includes at least one selected from C.I. pigment blue 15:1, C.I. pigment blue 15:2, C.I. pigment blue 15:3, C.I. pigment blue 15:4, and C.I. pigment blue 15:6 as a coloring agent.
