Abstract:

Disclosed is an inkjet accepting agent for oily pigment ink prepared by dispersing a vinyl polymer (A) having a glass transition temperature of 10-70°C obtained by polymerizing a vinyl monomer mixture containing 30-70 wt% of methyl methacrylate (a1) and a total of 0.2-5.0 wt% of at least one selected from the group comprising a carboxyl group containing vinyl monomer (a2) and an amide group containing vinyl monomer (a3) in an aqueous medium (B), wherein the elution rate when said vinyl polymer (A) is immersed in 25°C tetrahydrofuran for 24 h is 10-90 wt%. Also disclosed is an inkjet recording medium for oily pigment ink having an ink accepting layer obtained by using same.
