Abstract:
An outward path (12) transports ink from an ink tank (11) to an inkjet head (10). A return path (13) transports the ink in the opposite direction. A bypass flow path (18) transports the ink from the outward path (12) to the return path (13) without passing the ink through the inkjet head (10). Cleaning flow paths (15, 16) supply a cleaning liquid to the inkjet head (10), and recover the cleaning liquid from the inkjet head (10). A switching unit (30) switches between: a circulation state in which the ink is circulated in a circulation path including the outward path (12), the inkjet head (10), the return path (13), and the ink tank (11); and a cleaning state in which the ink is circulated in a circulation path including the outward path (12), the bypass flow path (18), the return path (13), and the ink tank (11), and the cleaning liquid is supplied to the inkjet head (10) and recovered from the inkjet head (10) via the cleaning flow paths (15, 16) to clean the inkjet head (10).
