Abstract:

The present invention pertains to an inkjet recording method for recording a first ink and a second ink in superimposed fashion on a recording medium with low liquid absorption. The first ink and the second ink are water-based inks each containing a colorant (A), a polymer (B), an organic solvent (C), and water, and satisfy the formulae (1) and (2) below. An image is formed with at least one first ink, and then, by superimposing the second ink on at least part of the formed image, a background image is formed. According to this method, a satisfactory image with excellent solid printing uniformity and reduced color mixing can be obtained. [T2 - T1] < 0 mN/m (1) [V2 - V1] ≥ 1.0 mPa∙s (2) (In the formulae, T2 represents the static surface tension of the second ink, T1 represents the static surface tension of the first ink, V2 represents the viscosity of the second ink at 32°C, and V1 represents the viscosity of the first ink at 32°C.)
