Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To reduce inrush current to a capacitor in a load circuit or a power
supply, and to reduce the cost without shortening the lifetime of the capacitor.
[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A circuit for reducing the inrush current to a capacitor
which is connected with a power supply input terminal of a load circuit comprises
a load current detection circuit (12) for detecting a current id flowing into
a load circuit (13), a switching element Q1 which is turned on when the current
id detected by the load current detection circuit (12) exceeds a threshold or
the variation of the current exceeds a threshold, and a second capacitor C2 which
is connected in parallel with the capacitor C1 when the switching element Q1 is
turned on.
