Abstract:
An insert for use with a position sensor of a vehicle engine, comprising: an insert body (1), a surface of the insert body being provided with a first annular groove (2) and a second annular groove (3) which divide the surface of the insert into a first face (4), a second face (5) and a third face (6); a surface of the second face (5) and the third face (6) is provided with straight line knurling, and an edge of the third face (6) is a shrinkage surface which is inclined 45° (9); the insert is provided, from an end portion of the first face (4) inward, with an M4 thread blind hole (7), the blind hole (7) having a depth of 8 mm. The insert may effectively increase torsion and drawing force, may achieve a tight fit with a screw, and may prevent lubrication oil from permeating a product, thus impacting detection by the position sensor.
