Abstract:
A set of surgical instrument for use with expandable spinal implants (12). The set of instruments includes box chisels (14), (16) designed to prepare a site for implant placement. The set of instruments also includes inserter/expander instruments (18) configured to place and expand an implant at the site. The set of instrument further includes assembling/collapsing instruments (20), (22) configured to assemble an implant, and collapse or reduce the height of an expanded implant.
