Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an insulating film-equipped metal material having an insulating film in which cracks and film peeling are prevented and good moisture resistance is exhibited formed thereon. [Solution] An insulating film-equipped metal material having a metal material and an insulating film covering at least part of the surface of the metal material, wherein the insulating film has an insulating first layer that is provided directly to the surface of the metal material and that is formed of a coating film containing clay minerals, and a second layer that is provided such that at least a part thereof overlaps with the surface of the first layer on the surface of the metal material and that has greater insulating properties and moisture resistance than the first layer.
