Abstract:
The present invention utilizes an insulating material containing a silica xerogel and a nonwoven fabric fiber that can generate carbon dioxide by reacting with atmospheric oxygen at temperatures of 300°C or higher. The insulating material uses oxidized acrylic as the nonwoven fabric fiber. The present invention also utilizes equipment in which the insulating material is disposed as a part of a heat insulating or a cold insulating structure or between a part that generates heat and a case.
