Abstract:
The invention concerns a device for amplifying and reverberating the sound of the acoustic guitar or any other acoustic string instrument provided with a sound box, while freeing it of the visual and technical constraints imposed by the use of an amplifier external to the instrument. It comprises at least one microphone (2), one amplification system (3) provided, depending on the options, with a sound equalisation, sound reverberation and sound modulation system, one battery (4), at least one enclosure (5) containing at least one loud-speaker (6), all fixed to the interior of the instrument body. The amplified sound is diffused outwards via one or several openings (1) cut into the ribs of the instrument. The device according to the invention is intended for amateur or professional instrumentalists who wish to give their instrument a high sound amplitude while preserving its appearance as a musical instrument in itself.
