Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to solve the problem of decreased strength/rigidity in the weld line of an injection molded body, and enable free design, such as the injection molding of thin-walled products or products having complicated shapes. Provided is an integrated molded body in which a reinforcing substrate having a discontinuous fiber and a resin is integrated with an injection molded body having a discontinuous fiber and a resin, wherein the reinforcing substrate is integrated with the injection molded body so as to cover a portion or all of the weld line of the injection molded body, and the ratio of the thickness Ta of the reinforcing substrate to the thickness T of a weld line portion of the integrated molded body satisfies the following relation: Ta/T≤((Ebw-√(Ea·Ebw))/(Ebw-Ea)) when Ea≠Ebw, and Ta/T≤0.5 when Ea=Ebw, where Ta is the thickness of the reinforcing substrate, T is the thickness of the weld line of the integrated molded body, Ea is the flexural modulus (width direction of the weld line) of the reinforcing substrate, and Ebw is the flexural modulus (width direction of the weld line) of the weld line portion of the injected molded body.
