Abstract:
An interaction device 10 is provided with: an acquisition unit 13 for acquiring a system utterance; a setting unit 14 for setting wait time until a response can be accepted from a user on the basis of the system utterance; a measurement unit 16 for measuring the time that has passed since the system utterance was output to the user; a user utterance acquisition unit 15 for acquiring a user utterance; and a control unit 17 for controlling the interaction with the user so that an additional action is output to the user in accordance with the system utterance when the elapsed time measured by the measurement unit 16 exceeds the wait time. When the user utterance acquisition unit 15 acquires a user utterance not relevant to the response to a system utterance after the system utterance is output, the measurement unit 16 determines whether or not to deduct the elapsed time on the basis of the system utterance and the user utterance.
