Disclosed is an interconnected document updating method based on common interests. The method comprises: when a document is created, requesting a cloud server to acquire interconnected identity (ID) information, and saving the interconnected identity (ID) information, which is distributed by the cloud server and corresponds only to the document, in the document, so that the document is turned into an interconnected document; when a reader reads the interconnected document and needs to make commentary or annotation, creating, in the interconnected document, a unique feedback ID corresponding to the commentary or annotation information and a reader identity , and uploading, according to the interconnected identity (ID) information, the unique feedback ID and the corresponding commentary or annotation information to the cloud server for storage; the cloud server performing data analysis on the commentary or annotation contents uploaded by different readers of the same interconnected document, and associating readers with common interest characteristics together; and when there is any update on a content concerned by any of the readers associated together, the cloud server automatically notifying the other users associated together, and pushing the updated contents to a user client.
