Abstract:
An interdental brush 1 comprising a gripping portion 2 and a brush portion 3 provided on the distal end of the gripping portion 2, wherein the brush portion 3 comprises a shaft member 4 extending from the gripping portion 2, and a plurality of projecting pieces 5 that project from the shaft member 4. The shaft member 4 satisfies (A) to (C) described below.
(A) The repulsive force when a section 5 mm from the distal end of the shaft member 4 is impacted at a speed of 10 mm/second is no less than 0.56 N.
(B) During a left-right bend test in which the basal end of the shaft member 4 is bent 90 degrees in a first direction perpendicular to the axial line and then is bent 90 degrees in a second direction opposite to the first direction, the number of bend operations until the core portion of the shaft member 4 breaks is no less than 20.
(C) During a 90-degree bend test in which the basal end of the shaft member 4 is bent 90 degrees in a first direction perpendicular to the axial line, the maximum stress for the fifth bend operation is no less than 1.7 N.
