Abstract:
An interface detection sensor 1 projects first detection light L1 and second detection light L2 to a blood sample 60 including a first layer 61, a second layer 62 and a third layer 63 to detect an interface between the first layer 61 and the second layer 62. The interface detection sensor 1 is provided with a first floodlight element 11, a second floodlight element 12 and a single light-receiving element 21. The first floodlight element 11 can project the first detection light L1 having a first wavelength. The second floodlight element 12 can project the second detection light L2 having a second wavelength that is different from the first wavelength. The single light-receiving element 21 receives the first detection light L1 and the second detection light L2 which have been projected from the first floodlight element 11 and the second floodlight element 12, respectively, and have penetrated through the blood sample 60, and outputs a single light-receiving signal S21 corresponding to the first detection light L1 and the second detection light L2. Each of the first detection light L1 and the second detection light L2 varies in the first layer 61, the second layer 62 and the third layer 63 through which the first detection light L1 and the second detection light L2 penetrate.
