Abstract:
An interferometer for the shape control of convex surfaces of optical parts comprises a monochromatic light source (1), and placed successively thereafter along the beam path, a focusing lens (3), a beam splitter (4), a compensator (5) and a lens system (6) the last surface (A) of which, along the beam path, has a standard concave spherical form, its centre of curvature being optically conjugated, by means of the compensator (5), with the rear focus (F1) of the focusing lens (3). After the lens system (6) along the beam path on its optical axis are placed successively an additional compensator (16), an additional beam splitter (17), an additional focusing lens (18), a system of mirrors (20, 2) for directing the beams from the monochromatic light source (1) to the additional focusing lens (18), the rear focus (F2) of which is optically conjugated, by means of the additional compensator (16), with the centre of curvature of the standard concave spherical surface (B) of the lens system (6), which surface is placed first along the beam path from the monochromatic light source (1) and which centre of curvature is different from that of the standard surface (A). The interferometer comprises further two systems (11, 19) for registration of interference patterns arising during the reflection of the light beams from the standard surfaces (A, B) of the lens system (6). The interferometer is intended preferably for shape controlling convex surfaces of optical parts of large (about 600 mm) diameters, for example the lenses of fast long focal-length photographic lenses.
