Abstract:
This internal combustion engine control system is provided with: a control calculation device (20) that is a calculation device performing calculation by use of a control storage area (20m) and that, in accordance with a user request torque which is requested by a user and is a driving torque of an internal combustion engine (90), calculates a target control amount which is a target value of a control amount for controlling the combustion state of the internal combustion engine; and a monitoring calculation device (30, 30A, 30B) that is a calculation device performing calculation by use of a monitoring storage area (30m) different from the control storage area and that monitors whether or not an estimation torque, which is an estimation value of the actual torque of the internal combustion engine, is in a torque abnormality state of being deviated by greater than or equal to a predetermined value from engine demand torque demanded by the internal combustion engine. When a blowout amount that is an amount of intake air which moves out of an exhaust port (90out) in an intake stroke of the internal combustion engine, or an in-cylinder air amount that is the degree of intake air which moves out of the exhaust port or is an amount of air filled in a combustion chamber (90a) of the internal combustion engine, is defined as a blowout state amount, the monitoring calculation device calculates the estimation torque by use of the blowout state amount.
