Abstract:
Provided is an internal combustion engine exhaust brake control method with which it is possible to elevate pressure within an exhaust pipe and increase braking force when carrying out an exhaust brake control in a vehicle wherein an electric turbocharger is connected to an engine intake assembly. When carrying out an exhaust brake control in a vehicle wherein an electric turbocharger (11) is connected to an intake assembly of an engine (10), the electric turbocharger (11) is driven, the compressor rotational speed thereof is raised to a prescribed rotational frequency, and the intake air volume is increased.
