Abstract:
In order to suppress the peeling of a heat-shield film formed on a piston crown, an internal-combustion-engine piston structure is equipped with: a heat-shield film (22) for suppressing thermal transmission to the interior of the piston (10), and formed on the crown (21) of the piston (10); and a recess (24) provided in the crown (21) of the piston (10) and separated by an interval from the outer-circumferential section of the piston (10). Therein, the end section of the heat-shield film (22) is positioned in the recess (24) provided in the crown (21) of the piston (10).
