Abstract:
Provided are an intraocular lens and related technology, whereby an average value (greater than 0D) inside a first region for a base difference value, from a lens center O to a first boundary position r1, is greater than 5 times the average value (greater than 0D) within the first region for the base differential value, from the lens center O to the position r1, for a virtual spherical lens having base power at the lens center O. A second region has a power having at least one positive constant power applied to a reference aspheric power. In a third region: the base power is reduced so as to provide a negative longitudinal spherical aberration that at least partially offsets the positive longitudinal spherical aberration provided by the cornea; and a second step value is greater than a first step value.
