Abstract:
A warning area (W) which has a plurality of narrow areas is formed by an optical section (3) including a detection element (30), and a light collection section (39), and the direction of the warning area is varied so as to detect intrusion of an object within the warning area. This intrusion detection sensor (1) is provided with: an area adjustment unit (35) which is provided in either the optical section or the light collection section, and which optically adjusts optical paths between both sections forming the narrow areas of the warning area; and a position setting unit (45) which is provided in the other section, and which engages the area adjustment unit so as to set the position of the same.
