Abstract:
Provided is a compact, inexpensive inverter device that is capable of suppressing common mode noise while ensuring a wide operation range. The inverter device 1 comprises: an inverter circuit 28 that applies, to a motor 8, phase voltage at connection points for upper and lower arm switching elements 18A–18F, as a three-phase AC output; and a control device 21. The control device 21: adds the same value to the command value for each phase, such that the absolute value is always equal for the maximum and minimum values among the command values for generating phase voltage for each phase; obtains a new command value for each phase by inverting one phase among the added command values for each phase; and controls the upper and lower arm switching elements on the basis of the new command value for each phase.
