Abstract:
An ion wind generator (3) has a dielectric (7), a first electrode (9), and a second electrode (11). The second electrode (11) is separated from the first electrode (9) by the dielectric (7), and contains a downstream area (11m) that is positioned more to the x-direction positive side along a first main surface (7a) of the dielectric (7), relative to the first electrode (9). The first electrode (9) and the second electrode (11) can induce an ion wind that flows on the x-direction positive side above the first main surface (7a) when a voltage is applied. Then, the downstream area (11m) of the second electrode (11) has a first section (P1) and a second section (P2) that is closer to the downstream side than the first section (P1) is, and closer to the first main surface (7a) than the first section (P1) is.
