Abstract:
An item inspecting device includes an image acquisition unit and a controller. The image acquisition unit acquires a captured image of at least a portion of an item. The controller determines whether the item is defective by using the captured image of the item. The controller conducts a first inspection of a first component having a predetermined shape and formed on the item and of at least one from among the position, shape, and size of at least one second component including at least one from among an open portion, a recessed portion, and a through-hole formed in the item, and conducts a second inspection of at least one from among an attached foreign material, a scratch, and an uneven surface on the item. Accordingly, an inspection for defects can be conducted more accurately and effectively.
