Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing Janus particles with which it is possible to encapsulate a drug by a simple method, and a method for producing the Janus particles. The present invention provides a method for producing Janus particles having a particle diameter of 0.01-5,000 μm, the Janus particles being configured from lipids and polymers, the method including: a step for emulsifying a solution, obtained by dissolving one or more lipids and one or more polymers in a common solvent, in a surfactant aqueous solution; and a step for removing the common solvent.
